In winter crows (Corvus corone) and magpies (Pica pica) tend to form flocks which will disperse in the Spring to breed. Here near Crouch End some twenty of them form a 'murder of crows' as the favourite recherché collective noun for them (amongst 'horde' and 'muster') has it.
