St Anthony and the Lizard
Here is a previous resident of Dennis House. At the time this photo was taken Folly the dog was getting on a bit and when I suggested walking to Falmouth was no longer up for it. Maybe she felt she had seen it all and was content to survey the comings and goings from her post at the front door. We used to stroll gently up to the headland to survey the bay, or down to the creek. When my own retriever came down they would both go down to the shore to look for crabs. How they located them in shallow water I don't know and when mine caught his first he ate everything except the bile sac - how do they know these things?
