Here is St Anthony seen from the other side of Gillan Creek looking towards Pendennis Castle just above the wooded ridge on the far side of the bay. The walk back from Falmouth Town Hall of around a dozen miles along the Coast Path, crossing the Helford River by ferry, is glorious on a fine day and depending on the season you may see an extraordinary number of flowers and plants ranging from Sea Pinks to Purple Tufted Vetch, Thrift, Squill, Purple Orchids, Dropwort, Bloody Cranesbill, Sea Campion, Barnet Rose, Campion, Spring Sandwort, Betony, Spotted Cats Ear, Cornish Heath, Jacob's Ladder and...
